Compare Sportsbooks Tool
Pick 2 to 4 US sportsbooks. We line up welcome bonus, payout speed, app quality, legal states, payment methods and more — so you can decide in seconds which book to open next.
How the comparison tool works
The tool runs a deterministic comparison across 11 dimensions for every book in our database. You pick 2-4 books; we line up the data side-by-side and badge the winner of each row.
The 11 dimensions we rank:
- Editorial rating (/5) — the BettingOffice team's weighted score based on first-hand reviews.
- Editorial note — one-line positioning (best for sharps, best sign-up, biggest app, etc.).
- Welcome bonus — the headline sign-up offer as advertised.
- Minimum deposit (lower wins) — the smallest amount that unlocks betting + the bonus.
- Payout speed — banded from "Same day" to "3-5 days" for ACH + e-check withdrawals.
- Mobile app (/5) — App Store + Play Store average weighted by review volume.
- Live streaming — yes/no on in-play video feeds (NBA/NFL/MLS).
- Cash-out — yes/no on early settle-bet support.
- Legal US states (count) — number of states where the book is licensed to operate.
- Best for — tags of niche strengths (parlays, odds boosts, customer service).
- Payment methods — accepted deposit/withdrawal rails (ACH, PayPal, Play+, wire, etc.).
How "Best" badges work — each row is scored independently. A number → highest (or lowest for min-deposit) wins. A boolean → the "yes" side wins. A list → longer wins as a proxy for breadth. Ties produce no winner badge; we display the raw value instead. Nothing is subjective — the badges mirror the data as published, not a personal preference.
The data refreshes daily from our sportsbook-review CPT. Every book ships a canonical review page (e.g. /sportsbooks/) — the comparison pulls the same fields so nothing drifts between the ranking and the head-to-head.
Frequently asked questions
How many books can I compare at once?
Between 2 and 4. One book has nothing to compare against; five or more crams the matrix below the point of usefulness. Most bettors find the sweet spot at 3 — enough for triangulation, not too much noise.
Why don't I see my favorite book in the picker?
The picker lists only books we've reviewed and that are currently licensed in at least one US state. Offshore books, grey-market platforms, and DFS-only operators are excluded on purpose — we don't compare apples to regulated oranges.
Who decides the winner of each row?
The algorithm does, based on published data. Numeric rows pick the higher (or lower for min-deposit) value. Boolean rows pick "yes". List rows pick the longer list. There is no editorial thumb on the scale — if the data is equal, no badge is shown.
Are the welcome bonuses current?
We refresh bonus copy daily from each operator's public landing page. Bonus offers rotate often — always re-check the book's site before claiming, and read the terms. We flag the headline number, not the wagering requirements.
Can I share a comparison URL?
Yes. The URL includes the selected slugs as a query parameter (e.g. ?books=fanduel, draftkings) — paste it anywhere and the same matrix renders. No login, no account, no tracking parameter.
